The cylinders started out as 30mm test tubes; one plus a half for each.
A 15.9mm hemisphere was bevelled inside to fit on to the top.
Some tiny bits of styrene combined to make a valve. The pin tip is embedded to later mount the "air hose" (Maplin Bell Wire).
Even after painting my tube joint shows, but it is hidden under a strap.
